Senior Spa Therapist

Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort is recruiting a Senior Spa Therapist, to be based in Inhambane, Mozambique.

Duties

• Contribute to the high level of services in accordance with the company’s standard as prescribed in Standard Operations Manual
• Assist in coordinating and supervising staff in professional manner
• Maintain in-house training program and keep rechecking Standard of Services
• Implement therapist working schedule and be responsible to ensure the maximum productivity
• Provide on the job training to new staff member
• Teach and supervise the treatments when needed
• Participate in new training programs as required
• Monitor therapist performance and assist the spa manager in staff evaluation
• Maintain stock at correct levels
• Assist with demonstrations and events as required
• Fill in inventory reports accurately
• Complete all assignments stated by deadlines with the spa manager or supervisor’s guidelines
• Have a complete understanding of and adhere to the company’s policy and procedures
• Have a complete understanding of and adhere to the company’s policy related to fire, hygiene, health and safety
• Carry out the other duties as assigned by the management team
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene in work areas

Requisites

• At least Secondary graduated
• Minimum 3 years experience as therapist is 5 stars spa
• Able to communicate in English
• Willing to teach and share the specialized skills with the team member
• Have sense of awareness towards clients
• Ability to work in flexible hours including weekends and public holiday
